Ilam Lifecare Dementia Care
At Ilam Lifecare we understand that caring for someone who is developing dementia and experiencing confusion and memory loss can be difficult and demanding.
Our specially designed Cressy Unit helps residents find their orientation through the use of visual cues. Easily accessible garden and lawn areas provide a safe and secure outdoor environment. Dining, living and outdoor areas are connected so that residents can move about freely.
Staff working in the Cressy Unit, including registered nurses are chosen for their tolerance, understanding and ability to manage difficult behaviour. Completion of the ACE Dementia Training Programme is a requirement of all staff working in the unit.
Our Dementia Care facility can be viewed by appointment Monday to Friday.
